MISSION
Le TOTEM Center Inc. established in the U.S.A. is an educational center which devotes itself to help the Haitian community to acquire her two mother languages, to keep Creole and French languages alive and transmit those speaking roots to the young Haitians.

GOALS
 Le TOTEM- Center Inc. works actively and contributes in building the Haitian community dignity by educating, and participating in the restoration of the Haitian picture, in Haiti and Abroad. 

STRATEGY & SERVICES
Le TOTEM- Center Inc teaches French and Creole Languages to children and adults. Totem-Culture uses an active way to improve both: Oral and Writing skills while adapting to consumer's interest and language level.

The Center's methodology is dynamic and uses real situations, current needs of expressions and daily realties for teaching and motivation.

Le TOTEM- Center Inc. adapts intensive classes to the specific needs of all professionnals requiring a preparation to be part of any project in a francophone or creolophone place.

Le TOTEM- Center Inc, in New York, is also a place where people could retrieve the Haitian soul by organizing lectures, conferences, sminars, books presentation in Creole and French.

In order to facilitate active learning, the center assures following:
- To develop some cultural and artistic activities to explore historical and literary domains.
- To offer the possibility for linguistics exchanges with francophone students.
- To include personal developement and the self-esteem reinforcement as major objectives.

Le TOTEM- Center Inc. offers translation service, methodology of French and Creole manuscripts' speech writing, readind and editing. It offers same service for administrative letters and other documents.
